Awnings Protect Doors from Sun Damage
The Challenge:
When Memphis OB-GYN specialist Dr. Edward Lazarus looked at his recently installed patio doors, he was not happy. The three wooden doors were less than a year old, and they were already showing signs of sun damage and beginning to deteriorate.
Replacing patio doors at this rate was going to get expensive. When Dr. Lazarus discussed the sun damage with his neighbors, they suggested he install awnings to protect the doors.
The Solution:
Dr. Lazarus called Parasol Awnings because his neighbors recommended them. Andrew Henning from Parasol visited the Lazarus home to check out the situation. Indeed, the doors on the south side of the home showed sun damage.
Andrew measured the three doors to make sure the awnings would have a custom fit. He also reviewed the awning styles and the potential fabrics.
“He had more fabric choices than I could possibly imagine, so many colors,” said Dr. Lazarus. “I selected a brick color that would match the house. Andrew left me a bag sewn from the same fabric so my wife could give it her blessing.”
Andrew quickly responded with a quote.
“Andrew was very professional, the recommendation from my neighbors was strong and the price seemed very fair,” said Dr. Lazarus. “I wrote the check and told them to get started.”
Dr. Lazarus was not home when the new awnings were installed. He was pleasantly surprised when he saw the finished project.
